Description
Español: La Casa del Pueblo en Buenos Aires hacia 1927. Se puede apreciar parte de la boca de acceso de la ya desaparecida estación Pasco Sur (Línea A).
English: The People's House (Casa del Pueblo); Rivadavia 2150, Balvanera, Buenos Aires. Designed by Pedro Cremona and built in 1927, the Neo-classical building served as the headquarters for the Socialist Party of Argentina from 1927 until, in 1953, it was ransacked by a Peronist mob. A dispute between the two main factions of the Socialist Party (Democratic and Argentine) precluded the building's restoration, and it was demolished in 1974.

According to Law 11.723, Article 34, photographs are protected for 20 years after publication. (Note that Law 25.140 promulgated in 1999 that implements the Paris Act of 1971 explicitly dismisses in Article 9 the minimum protection duration for photographic works required by Berne Convention, Article 7 (4))
